APIS Electropneumatic positioner

The Aplisens APIS series features intelligent electropneumatic positioners that provide fast, precise control of linear and rotary valve actuators. The range includes the standard aluminium APIS-100, a rugged stainless steel variant, and the ATEX-certified intrinsically safe APIS-Ex for hazardous zones. It processes standard 4–20 mA signals or HART 6 commands, using a microprocessor to compare the target position against physical valve feedback. Internal fast-switching pneumatic valves adjust compressed air to align the stem, ensuring a fine 0.1% dead band sensitivity.

The positioner can cooperate with single-acting actuators manufactured by Polna S.A., Samson, Arca Regler, Spiral-Sarco and double-acting actuators manufactured by Prema Kielce, Air Torque, Festo, Ebro Armaturen, El-0-Matic and by other manufacturers using proper mechanical coupling components.
