Compact Density Unit Measuring Device CDU
Bopp & Reuther density measuring devices (CDU unit configurations) are custom-engineered, bypass-configured density measurement assemblies. Built as an alternative to simple standalone sensors, the “CDU” setup functions as a complete Continuous Density Unit (or Compact Density Unit). It integrates a high-precision DIMF series sensor with specialised modular bypass instrumentation to ensure highly stable, temperature-compensated, and flow-regulated liquid measurement directly adjacent to the main process pipeline.
Density and Concentration Meter DIMF
The DIMF Series by Bopp & Reuther Messtechnik consists of high-precision inline instruments used for the continuous measurement of liquid density, reference density, and concentration. They operate on the oscillating U-tube / tuning fork principle, where the natural vibration frequency of the measuring element changes relative to the fluid density passing through it.
DIMF Density and Concentration Cabinet DIMF
Bopp & Reuther density measuring and cabinet solutions provide engineered systems for continuous, high-precision measurement of fluid density, reference density, and concentration. These solutions combine their industry-standard DIMF Series density sensors with a dedicated flow or density computer (such as the UR06 / ERW 700 series) into a secure, ruggedized enclosure. Designed for critical process monitoring and custody transfer, these integrated cabinets can feature additional custom components like strainers, pumps, temperature compensation, and flushing ports to protect sensor integrity.
